Role Description The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at LOOXS is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow, responsible for setting and executing the company’s technology vision across fashion, retail, and digital channels. The CTO will oversee software and product development initiatives, including e-commerce platforms, in-store technologies, and internal business systems, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and aligned with business goals.

Day-to-day, the CTO will lead cross-functional technology teams, manage projects from concept to deployment, and collaborate with leadership to drive innovation in customer experience and operational efficiency. The role includes defining IT strategy and architecture, managing vendor relationships, optimizing infrastructure, and establishing best practices for data security and compliance.



The CTO will also mentor engineering and IT staff, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and evaluate emerging technologies that can strengthen LOOXS’ competitive edge.

Qualifications

- Strong background in Software Development and Architecture, with experience designing scalable, secure, and reliable systems for retail or consumer-facing businesses.
- Proven expertise in IT Strategy and Product Development, including aligning technology roadmaps with business objectives and leading end-to-end product lifecycles.
- Demonstrated Project Management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver complex technology initiatives on time and within budget.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing technical teams, with inclusive leadership, clear communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, retail systems (POS, inventory, CRM), cloud infrastructure, and data security best practices is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Lucknow, collaborate closely with design, retail, and operations teams, and adapt to a fast-moving fashion and retail environment.
