Role Description The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a full-time remote role responsible for defining and executing the overall technology vision and strategy for DJ Partners. The CTO will oversee software development and product engineering teams, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals.

Day-to-day tasks include setting technical standards, guiding system architecture decisions, prioritizing and managing technology projects, and collaborating with product, operations, and leadership to deliver high-impact initiatives. The CTO will monitor emerging technologies, optimize the technology stack, manage vendor and partner relationships, and ensure that IT governance, security, and compliance practices are in place.



This role also involves mentoring technology leaders, developing team capabilities, and establishing processes that support efficient, high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

- Strong background in Software Development and Product Development, with experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex technology solutions.
- Proven ability in IT Strategy and Architecture, including defining technology roadmaps and designing scalable, secure, and reliable systems.
- Demonstrated Project Management skills, with experience overseeing multiple initiatives, managing timelines and budgets, and aligning stakeholders.
- Experience in remote leadership, including building distributed teams, promoting effective communication, and maintaining high performance in a virtual environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with solid communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical partners.
- Prior executive or senior technology leadership experience (e.g., CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Technology) in a product or services organization preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
