Role Overview

We are looking for a senior HR professional to build and lead the complete HR function for a well-established and rapidly growing FMCG organization.

You will work directly with the Managing Director and take ownership of people strategy, talent acquisition, HR systems, performance management, culture, compliance, and employee development.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and own the end-to-end HR function from the ground up
- Develop and implement structured recruitment and workforce planning processes
- Partner with the MD on organization structure, role design, hiring, and manpower planning
- Build talent pipelines across Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other critical functions
- Develop and implement performance appraisal, feedback, career progression, and recognition systems
- Establish HR policies covering attendance, leave, code of conduct, POSH, and other employee practices
- Ensure statutory compliance including PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment Act, and applicable labour laws
- Oversee payroll, employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
- Design structured onboarding and employee engagement processes
- Identify training and development requirements and implement relevant L&D; initiatives




- Drive employee retention through engagement, feedback, and career development initiatives
- Support leadership development and succession planning as the organization scales
- Build HR systems/HRMS and establish measurable HR processes and dashboards
- Act as a strategic HR partner to the leadership team and contribute to business-level people decisions

What Makes This Role Different This is not an HR maintenance role. You will be building the HR function itself. You will have direct access to the MD, significant decision-making responsibility, and the opportunity to create the policies, systems, culture, and people practices that will support the company's next phase of growth.

Experience: 8+ Years

Education: MBA HR / PGDM / Equivalent

Industry Preference: FMCG / Manufacturing / Consumer Goods

Joining: Immediate preferred

Compensation: 25 Lac-30 Lac Per Annum

Ideal Candidate: Someone with a robust combination of HR strategy, recruitment, compliance, performance management, employee engagement, and leadership-level communication, who is comfortable building processes from scratch and taking complete ownership.
