Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Guwahati. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing financial statements. Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and assisting with tax computations and filings. The role involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, coordinating with tax consultants, and preparing documentation for audits.



The Accountant will also support management with financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting, while maintaining organized and accurate financial records.
Qualifications

Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices.
Experience with accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and general ledger maintenance.
Familiarity with tax rules, compliance requirements, and preparation of tax-related documentation.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Positive analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
Relevant educational background such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Prior experience in an accounting or tax consulting setting is an advantage.
