Coimbatore - Office-based - Student Interaction Vibedu Study Abroad is seeking an enthusiastic and student-focused Education Counsellor for our Coimbatore office. The role involves guiding students and parents through overseas education options, admissions and application processes while ensuring a high-quality counselling experience.
Responsibilities
Counsel students and parents on study abroad options, universities, courses, eligibility and admission requirements.
Assess student profiles and recommend suitable countries, universities and programs.
Handle student inquiries through walk-ins, calls, emails and online platforms.
Guide students through the end-to-end admission process, including applications and documentation.
Coordinate with internal teams for offer letters, confirmations and visa processing.
Maintain accurate student records, follow-ups and application status in CRM systems.
Achieve individual counselling and application targets.
Participate in student seminars, education fairs and promotional events.
Build and maintain solid relationships with students and parents.
Stay updated on international education trends, university requirements and visa regulations.
Eligibility Requirements
Bachelors degree in any discipline
1+ years of experience in study abroad counselling
Solid communication, counselling and interpersonal skills
Student-centric approach with good problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple students and deadlines effectively
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
Preferred Skills
Experience handling UK, Canada, Australia, USA or Europe admissions
Multilingual skills (Tamil English preferred)
Passion for helping students achieve their educational goals
Solid analytical and decision-making capabilities
