Job Requirements

- Driving advanced supplier negotiations and complex contracting strategies.
- Embedding compliance, regulatory, and sustainability requirements into sourcing and contracting decisions.
- Leading enterprise or multi-region category strategies across direct and indirect spend.
- Partnering with engineering and business leaders to enable early supplier involvement and innovation.
- Evaluating supplier proposals, negotiating commercial terms, and ensuring governance adherence.
- Identifying and mitigating supply, cost, and geopolitical risks through proactive sourcing strategies.

What your background should look like

- 10 years’ Experience working in a global/region commodity role in a multinational company.
- 5 years of Optical related
- Ability to understand global markets, collaborate effectively with global teams, and experience in working with suppliers in the Asia-Pacific region and Global
- Understanding of optical transceivers, optical components, CPO, optics passive fiber connectivity, Silicon photonics, Lasers (EML, Vcsel etc) and fiber interfaces

- Solid understanding of high‑speed optical transceiver architecture: optics chain, fiber interfaces and optical budgets.
