Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cashier role based in Pune City. The Cashier will handle customer transactions, including billing, payment processing, and issuing receipts, while ensuring accuracy in cash, card, and digital payments. The role involves greeting customers, answering basic product or service inquiries, and directing them to the appropriate team members when needed.





The Cashier will maintain and reconcile the cash drawer, follow loss-prevention and cash-handling procedures, and assist with daily sales reporting. Additional responsibilities include keeping the checkout area organized, supporting store operations during peak hours, and adhering to NETGEAR’s customer service and compliance standards.

Qualifications

- Strong cash-handling and point-of-sale (POS) operation skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Customer service skills, including clear communication, patience, and a professional, courteous attitude.
- Basic numeracy and computer skills, with comfort using digital payment systems and retail software.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune City, stand for extended periods, and manage high-volume customer interactions.
- Previous experience in retail, cashiering, or front-desk roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in commerce or business is an advantage.
- Reliable time management, integrity in handling financial transactions, and willingness to follow company policies.
