Role Description The Carrier Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for managing and growing relationships with telecom carriers and network operators. This role involves negotiating and maintaining interconnection agreements, monitoring traffic and performance, and ensuring high-quality delivery of messaging and voice services across global routes.

The Carrier Relationship

Manager will coordinate with technical and operations teams to resolve routing, quality, and capacity issues,



while optimizing costs and margins. The position also includes market analysis, identifying new carrier partners, supporting pricing decisions, and providing regular reporting on performance, SLAs, and commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

- Experience in carrier management, interconnects, or telecom wholesale, ideally within A2P SMS, voice, or CPaaS environments.
- Robust skills in relationship building, stakeholder management, and negotiation with carriers and telecom partners.
- Proficiency in analyzing traffic reports, quality metrics (DLR, latency), and commercial data to optimize routes and margins.
- Basic understanding of messaging and voice technologies (A2P SMS, SMPP, SS7, SIP, routing, firewall concepts) is highly beneficial.
- Ability to collaborate with technical, operations, and sales teams to resolve issues and implement carrier strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in an international telecom or messaging environment and familiarity with global carrier markets is a plus.
