Job Summary myG India Pvt Ltd is looking for a responsible and reliable Caretaker / Maintenance Assistant to oversee the day-to-day upkeep and maintenance of our premises at Marine Drive, Ernakulam.

The candidate will be responsible for general maintenance, basic plumbing, minor repairs, property upkeep, and coordinating with security and housekeeping staff to ensure the premises are well-maintained, safe, and operational.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor the overall condition and upkeep of the premises.
- Handle basic plumbing work, including fixing leaking taps, pipes, toilets, sinks, drains, and other minor plumbing issues.
- Regularly check water supply, drainage systems, plumbing fixtures, and other facilities.
- Attend to minor electrical, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance requirements.
- Identify maintenance issues and report major problems to management.
- Coordinate with external plumbers, electricians, technicians, and contractors when specialized work is required.
- Coordinate with security and housekeeping staff for smooth day-to-day operations.
- Monitor common areas, facilities, equipment, and building services.




- Ensure proper cleanliness and upkeep of the premises in coordination with the housekeeping team.
- Coordinate with security staff regarding access, safety, maintenance activities, and property-related concerns.
- Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and urgent issues.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and report significant issues to management.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Caretaker, Maintenance Assistant, Facility Assistant, Building Maintenance Worker, or similar role is preferred.
- Practical knowledge of basic plumbing and general maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and handle minor repair and maintenance issues.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, carpentry, painting, and other general repair work is an advantage.
- Ability to use common hand tools and maintenance equipment safely.
- Valuable communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with security, housekeeping, and external service providers.
- Responsible, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day maintenance requirements.

Pay: From ₹19,000.00 per month
