Role Description
This full-time, on-site role of CA Fresher – Stat Audit is based in Gurugram. The role involves supporting statutory audit engagements for a variety of clients, including planning, execution, and documentation of audit procedures under relevant accounting and auditing standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in testing of controls, performing substantive audit procedures, preparing working papers, and ensuring compliance with firm methodologies and regulatory requirements.
The role also includes coordinating with client teams to obtain necessary information, contributing to audit reports and schedules, and helping identify and communicate audit observations. The candidate will work closely with seniors and managers, participate in internal training, and contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism in every assignment.
Qualifications
- Recently qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong academic record and completed articleship in audit or assurance.
- Sound knowledge of accounting standards, auditing standards, Companies Act, and basic understanding of direct and indirect tax regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with audit tools or ERP systems will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret financial data and documentation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in teams and interact professionally with clients.
- Ability to manage time, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple assignments with a high level of accountability.
- Integrity, skilled ethics, and a commitment to continuous learning and development in statutory audit and related fields.
- Willingness to work on-site in Gurugram and travel to client locations as required by audit engagements.
