Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a CA with 0–2 years of experience, joining as a Fund Accountant or Senior Fund Accountant for Hedge Fund and Private Equity clients. The role involves maintaining accurate fund books and records, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

The professional will calculate and validate NAVs, reconcile positions and cash, and investigate breaks with custodians, brokers, and other counterparties. Daily responsibilities include assisting in audit preparation, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and fund documentation,



and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders. The role also includes contributing to process improvements, maintaining documentation, and supporting senior team members in delivering timely and high-quality reports to clients.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in finance and accounting, including Finance and Fund Accounting skills.
- Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements and support accurate Financial Reporting.
- Hands-on experience or strong understanding of NAV calculation, validation, and reconciliation.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with 0–2 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in fund administration, asset management, or similar domains.
- Knowledge of hedge fund and private equity structures, investment products, and basic regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and common accounting or fund administration software; familiarity with data reconciliation tools is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
- Demonstrated integrity, professional ethics, and willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
