Position: Software Engineer: C++ / Windows Application Development Experience: 4+ Years BLR-Hybrid Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with 4+ years of experience in software development, application testing, maintenance, and production support. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in C/C++, C++, Win32 API, UWP, DLLs, SQL, and Windows-based application development .

The role requires the ability to work across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze technical issues, and deliver reliable software solutions in an Agile environment.

Experience in payment solutions, banking applications, and EMV contact/contactless technologies will be highly relevant for this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, maintain, and support Windows-based software applications.
- Develop and maintain application components using C/C++ and C++.
- Work with Win32 APIs, UWP applications, and DLLs.
- Understand business and technical requirements and translate them into software solutions.
- Perform software development, debugging, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Analyze application issues and identify root causes.
- Develop and execute test cases and support UAT activities.
- Coordinate with QA and other stakeholders for defect resolution and application validation.
- Support application releases across UAT, pre-production, and production environments.
- Work with SQL and MS SQL Server for application/database-related activities.
- Participate in Agile development processes and SDLC/STLC activities.




- Track defects, change requests, and service requests using JIRA.
- Support production issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare and support application patches and releases.
- Collaborate effectively with development, testing, business, and support teams.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong programming experience in C/C++ and C++.
- Positive understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and STL.
- Hands-on experience with Win32 API.
- Experience in UWP / Windows application development.
- Good understanding of DLLs and Windows application components.
- Working knowledge of C# and Python.
- Good knowledge of SQL and MS SQL Server.
- Experience in software testing and UAT testing.
- Experience with Git and JIRA.
- Good understanding of Agile methodology.
- Knowledge of both Windows and Linux environments.

Domain Skills – Preferred

- Experience in payment solution development.
- Knowledge of payment application design and development.
- Hands-on experience or knowledge of EMV contact and contactless technologies.
- Experience working with banking/payment-related applications.
- Knowledge of transaction-processing applications.
- Experience with tools such as Postman and payment/certification testing tools.





Application & Production Support

- Experience supporting applications across UAT, pre-production, and production environments.
- Experience working with application configuration files, DLLs, web components, and Windows environments.
- Ability to perform application maintenance and production troubleshooting.
- Experience preparing application patches and supporting production deployments.
- Knowledge of production and Disaster Recovery (DR) activities is an advantage.
