We’re looking for a Financial Modeling / Business Revenue Strategist with hands-on knowledge of the crypto and fintech industry to help us understand, build and optimize our revenue model.

CryptoWala is building a simple and accessible way for Indians to invest in crypto through crypto SIPs. Our goal is to make long-term crypto investing easier, more structured and accessible to everyday users. With a growing community of 1.2M+ followers, we’re now building the product and business infrastructure to bring crypto investing to a much wider audience in India.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the crypto industry and how crypto exchanges/platforms operate.
- Understanding of crypto trading, investing, wallets, exchanges, liquidity providers and custody models.
- Knowledge of gas fees, trading fees, withdrawal/deposit fees, commissions and other charges used by crypto platforms.
- Understanding of how crypto exchanges, investment platforms and fintech companies generate revenue.
- Familiarity with different referral/affiliate models, commission structures and incentive programs used in crypto.
- Regular crypto investor/trader OR professional experience working with crypto/fintech businesses.
- Ability to analyze competitors and identify practical revenue opportunities and monetization models.
What You’ll Work On:
- Build and evaluate revenue & financial models.
- Analyze customer acquisition, transaction economics, fees, commissions and margins.
- Evaluate different pricing, referral and revenue-sharing models.
- Benchmark crypto exchanges, fintechs and investment platforms.
- Recommend sustainable revenue streams and unit economics for the business.
Ideal Candidate: Someone who doesn't just understand financial modeling on paper, but understands how crypto businesses actually make money and can translate that knowledge into a practical revenue strategy.
Experience Level:
Interns with strong knowledge and practical understanding of these areas are welcome to apply. Candidates with 1–2 years of experience working on financial/revenue models for crypto or fintech companies would also be a robust fit.
