Job Purpose : To provide Indian Sign Language (ISL) training and communication support to hearing-impaired/deaf beneficiaries and enable them to participate effectively in education, vocational training and daily life.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct individual and group ISL training sessions.
Prepare lesson plans and visual/activity-based learning materials.
Develop students' vocabulary, sentence formation and functional communication skills.
Assess and monitor learner progress and maintain records.
Provide individual/remedial support wherever required.
Support teachers and vocational trainers in communicating with hearing-impaired students.
Conduct basic ISL orientation sessions for staff and parents/caregivers.
Support students in developing communication skills required for interviews and workplaces.
Participate in workshops, awareness programmes and other SETU activities.
Prepare periodic progress reports and undertake other duties assigned by management.
Pay: ₹22,500.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
