Role Description The Business Development Executive – Leasing will focus on identifying, negotiating, and securing tenants for retail, entertainment, and F&B; spaces within Avani Riverside Mall. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting potential brands, conducting market research, preparing leasing proposals, and managing the end-to-end leasing process from initial contact to agreement closure. The role involves maintaining relationships with existing tenants, monitoring lease performance, coordinating with internal teams for fit-outs and store openings, and ensuring compliance with mall policies and timelines.





The Executive will also analyze occupancy trends, support rental and revenue optimization, and participate in on-site meetings, property tours, and promotional activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Howrah.

Qualifications

- Solid business development and leasing skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Experience in retail, commercial real estate, or mall management, with an understanding of tenant mix and brand positioning.
- Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and reporting to support leasing strategies and occupancy planning.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills for engaging tenants and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple leasing opportunities simultaneously, with solid organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfort with basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, CRM tools) to track leads and prepare proposals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field; relevant leasing or sales experience is preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site in Howrah and be available for tenant visits, walk-ins, and mall events as required.
