Sunlane Cleantech is building the digital backbone for residential solar and energy management. As we grow, our internal processes and tools need to keep pace with a changing business the systems we have work, but the way we work is evolving, and our processes need to evolve with it.

We're looking for a Business Analyst to help us do that. You'll take a process — how a team gets something done, how information moves between teams, how a task actually happens on the ground versus how it's assumed to happen — and build a clear, accurate picture of it: where it works well, where it creates friction, and what needs to change. That could mean adapting an existing system, or scoping something new.

This is not a role where requirements arrive fully formed. You'll be expected to go find them — by understanding how work actually happens, speaking to the people involved, and mapping it out yourself before proposing a fix.

What You'll Own

- Map existing business processes end-to-end, as they actually happen this includes processes that run through internal systems as well as processes that happen offline or in the field
- Run gap analysis to identify where a process breaks down, creates rework, or no longer fits how the business operates
- Turn that analysis into clear, well-structured requirements that others can act on and build against
- Speak with the people involved in a process — across teams and, where relevant,



with customers — to understand what's really going on, not just what's reported
- Take open-ended, loosely defined problems and shape them into scoped, actionable pieces of work
- Spend real time understanding a process before proposing a solution
- Form a clear point of view on the right way forward, while staying open to revising it as new information comes in

What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in a business analyst, process analyst, or similar process/requirements-focused role
- Strong process-mapping and structured gap-analysis skills — able to turn a vague problem into a clear picture of what's actually happening and what's broken
- Strong requirements-writing — explicit enough that whoever implements the fix doesn't need to guess
- Genuinely comfortable with ambiguity — able to build a scoped brief rather than waiting for one
- A proactive owner — follows up, chases answers, and doesn't sit on a blocked task
- Comfortable interviewing and gathering input from a range of stakeholders
- Fluent in Malayalam and English (spoken and written)
- Familiarity with CRM or business process tools is a plus, not a requirement
