Purpose: Participant in student programs, for example interns, industrial placement and cooperative students. The role content will vary according to the functional area but is likely to include project or program activities and learning prospects.
Scope: General
Entry Level with little or no prior work experience
Acquires basic skills to perform routine tasks
Work is routine and requires minimal problem resolution
Completes work with limited autonomy
Works with either close supervision or under clearly defined procedures

Primary Responsibilities
Individual placements will have role specific responsibilities that will typically include some of the activities below:
Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.




Keeping up-to-date technically and applying recent knowledge to your job.
Identifying problems and contributing to their resolution by resolving or escalating as appropriate
Assists with data accumulation in preparation for functional processes (finance, maketing, IT, etc.)
Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
