Role Description The Branch Manager role at Vastu Housing Finance Corporation Ltd. is a full time, on-site position based in Hapur.

The Branch

Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day branch operations, managing a team, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities include driving business growth through customer acquisition, relationship management, and housing loan portfolio expansion, while maintaining asset quality and minimizing delinquencies. The role involves monitoring branch performance, preparing reports, coordinating with regional and head office teams,



and implementing process improvements for efficiency and customer experience.

The Branch

Manager will also lead local market development activities, support training and mentoring of staff, and uphold Vastu’s values of financial inclusion and responsible lending.

Qualifications

- Strong leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, performance monitoring, and mentoring.
- Experience in retail lending or housing finance, with knowledge of credit assessment, underwriting basics, and collection practices.
- Customer relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust, understand local communities, and address customer needs professionally.
- Operational and administrative skills, including branch process oversight, documentation review, and compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in using basic digital tools (MS Office, CRM or loan management systems) and data for decision-making.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications in management or finance are an advantage.
- Prior experience in managing a branch or similar profit center, preferably in NBFCs, banks, or housing finance companies.
- Familiarity with local markets in and around Hapur and willingness to work on-site and travel locally as required.
