Job Summary The Branch Manager is responsible for leading the agency sales team, driving business growth through recruitment and development of Insurance Advisors (Agents), achieving branch targets, and ensuring overall branch performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

Achieve branch sales targets for Life Insurance products.

Drive premium collection and revenue growth.

Monitor daily / weekly / monthly sales performance.

Implement sales strategies to increase market penetration.

Agency Recruitment & Activation

Recruit, train, and develop Insurance Advisors (Agents).

Ensure activation and productivity of agents.

Conduct recruitment drives and field activities.

Team Management

Lead and motivate Sales Managers / Agency Managers.

Set explicit targets and monitor team productivity.

Provide coaching, field support, and performance feedback.

Training & Development

Organize regular training sessions for agents and team members.

Improve advisor productivity and sales skills.





Ensure compliance with company training standards.

Customer Relationship Management

Maintain strong relationships with key clients and advisors.

Handle customer escalations effectively

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Compliance & Operations

Ensure adherence to IRDAI and company policies.

Manage branch operations and documentation.

Maintain quality business and persistency ratios.

Eligibility Criteria

Graduation mandatory (MBA preferred).

Minimum 48 years experience in Life Insurance sales.

At least 2+ years team handling experience in Agency Channel.

Strong leadership and recruitment skills.
