Role Description The Branch Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Jaipur and Jodhpur, responsible for overseeing branch operations, New customer acquisition, business development, and customer relationships. This role involves managing the branch’s loan portfolio, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and monitoring credit quality to maintain a healthy loan book.

The Branch

Manager will lead and mentor branch staff, set performance targets, and ensure efficient processing of loan applications, documentation, and approvals.



Day-to-day activities include engaging with MSMEs, and local entrepreneurs, identifying financing needs, and promoting Agriwise products such as LAP, commodity finance, and Affordable Home Loan. The role also includes coordinating with regional and head office teams, preparing periodic reports, and driving branch-level initiatives to increase outreach and support financial inclusion in the local MSME ecosystem.

Qualifications

- Strong branch management and leadership capabilities, including team supervision, performance management, and staff mentoring.
- Experience in retail or MSME lending, with practical knowledge of products such as Loan Against Property and Home Loan
- Sound understanding of credit assessment, risk analysis, documentation, and compliance with RBI and NBFC regulations.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management, local market outreach, and business development within rural or semi-urban areas.
- Ability to work with digital lending platforms and basic proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders in the agri and MSME value chain.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business administration, agriculture, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in branch operations within NBFCs, banks, or agri finance institutions, particularly in similar geographies, is preferred.
