Position: Brain Atlas Annotation Associate

As a Brain Atlas Annotation Associate, you will play a key role in accurately annotating and labeling neuroanatomical structures from brain imaging and histological datasets. Working alongside neuroscientists, anatomists, and AI researchers, you'll help create standardized datasets that advance neuroscience research and next-generation artificial intelligence applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Annotate and label brain anatomical structures using specialized digital annotation tools.
- Perform quality-controlled annotation of histological, MRI, CT, microscopy, and other brain imaging datasets.
- Identify and delineate neuroanatomical regions using established anatomical references and protocols.
- Ensure annotation accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary research and AI teams to improve annotation quality.
- Review and validate annotations while maintaining detailed project documentation.
- Stay updated on neuroanatomy, annotation standards, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in biomedical image annotation or medical image analysis.
- Experience with critical review of scientific literature.
- Knowledge of human or animal neuroanatomy.




- Familiarity with digital pathology, microscopy, MRI, CT, or related imaging modalities.
- Experience with image annotation, GIS, CAD, or image analysis software.
- Basic understanding of AI, machine learning datasets, or computer vision workflows.

- Biomedical Engineering
- Or other related disciplines
