Role Description The BIM Engineering Faculty – Mechanical and Electrical role is a full-time, on-site position based in Thiruvananthapuram. The faculty member will deliver classroom and lab-based instruction on Engineering and BIM concepts for mechanical and electrical disciplines, including modeling workflows, coordination, and industry standards.

Daily responsibilities include designing lesson plans, preparing training materials, conducting lectures and practical sessions, evaluating student performance, and providing individualized mentoring and feedback.



The role also involves updating course content based on new technologies and best practices, collaborating with other faculty members, supporting student projects, and contributing to placement preparation activities such as portfolio review and interview readiness.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering , with the ability to teach core concepts and practical applications.
- Knowledge of BIM tools, software platforms, and digital workflows prefered.
- Demonstrated Research skills for updating course content, exploring emerging BIM technologies, and developing academic or industry-focused materials.
- Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience, with clear communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics in an accessible way.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and industry partners, and commitment to supporting learners from diverse backgrounds.
