The candidate will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining the BIM model across Structural, Architectural, MEP, Landscape and External Development works, and ensuring that drawings issued for construction are properly coordinated, clash-free and consistent with actual site conditions.
This is primarily a project/site coordination role, not merely a modelling position. The candidate should be capable of interacting with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, vendors and the site execution team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop, update and coordinate BIM models for:
- Architectural works
- RCC / structural works
- Plumbing and drainage
- Electrical systems
- HVAC / ventilation
- Fire-fighting systems
- ELV and related services
- Landscape and external development
- Rainwater, stormwater and underground utilities
1. Integrate models/drawings received from different consultants into a coordinated project model.
2. Carry out regular clash detection and constructability reviews and identify conflicts before execution at site.

- Coordinated BIM model

- Sections and enlarged details
- Service routing drawings

1. Cross-check architectural,
structural and MEP drawings for discrepancies in:
- Levels
- Dimensions
- Openings
- Shafts
- Slab penetrations
- Beam/service conflicts
- Ceiling clearances
- Equipment locations
- Drainage slopes
- External utility routing
1. Coordinate BIM information with actual site measurements and construction progress.
2. Incorporate approved revisions promptly and maintain proper drawing/model revision control.
3. Maintain a BIM drawing register and track drawings as:
- Under preparation
- Under review
- Approved
- Issued for Construction
- Revised
- As-built
1. Coordinate with consultants and contractors for resolution of RFIs and design/coordination issues.
2. Attend site coordination meetings and clearly present BIM clashes, discrepancies and proposed resolutions.
3. Verify that contractor/vendor shop drawings are consistent with the coordinated BIM model and consultant drawings.
4. Assist the project team in quantity extraction and BOQ verification wherever required.
5. Generate site-friendly sketches, sections and 3D views to explain complicated construction details.
6. Maintain the final coordinated as-built BIM model reflecting actual executed conditions.
Software Skills
Candidate should have robust working knowledge of:
- Autodesk Revit
- Navisworks Manage
- AutoCAD
- BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar document coordination platforms
