Senior Accountant – Client Billing (Construction)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Accountant – Client Billing with experience in construction project billing, client invoicing, reconciliation, and accounts coordination. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and submitting client bills, tracking certifications and payments, and maintaining accurate project-related financial records.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare RA Bills / Running Account Bills as per BOQ, work orders, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with project and site teams for measurement sheets, work completion details, and supporting documents.
- Prepare client invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and other billing documents.
- Verify quantities, rates, taxes, deductions, retention, advances, and other billing adjustments.
- Submit bills to clients and track bill certification, approval, and payment status.
- Maintain client-wise outstanding statements and billing schedules.
- Reconcile client accounts, receipts, advances, retention money, and deductions.
- Coordinate with clients regarding billing discrepancies, deductions, and payment follow-ups.




- Maintain project-wise billing, collection, and receivable reports.
- Coordinate with the project team for variation orders, extra items, escalation claims, and final billing.
- Ensure correct application of GST, TDS, retention, and other statutory deductions in client billing.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, billing summaries, collection reports, and ageing reports.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and client verification.
- Assist in final account settlement and project closure.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction billing and accounting.
- Good understanding of BOQ, RA Bills, measurements, work orders, and client certification.
- Knowledge of GST and TDS applicable to construction billing.
- Solid Excel skills and experience with Tally / ERP / accounting software.
- Good reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet billing deadlines.

Preferred Experience Experience with EPC, infrastructure, industrial, MEP, civil, or subcontractor billing will be preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
