Role Description The Bar Tender cum Captain is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar at PAL HEIGHTS MANTRA AT PAHAL BHUBANESWAR . This position is responsible for preparing and serving beverages, managing bar inventory, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at the bar. The role includes supervising bar operations, coordinating with service staff, and ensuring guests receive prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service.

The Bar

Tender cum Captain will handle guest orders,



recommend drinks, manage cash and billing, and support daily opening and closing procedures. The role also involves supporting bar promotions, maintaining product knowledge, and upholding company standards for safety, quality, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
- Sound knowledge of Food & Beverage service, including menu familiarity, pairing suggestions, and hygiene standards.
- Proficiency in Bartending, including mixing classic and signature cocktails, preparing beverages, and maintaining bar setup.
- Ability to perform accurate Cash Handling, billing, and IDS software.
- Previous experience in hotel bars, restaurants, or similar hospitality environments.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate bar service, with attention to detail and time management.
- Basic knowledge of responsible service of alcohol and local safety regulations.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as per hotel operations.
- Skilled appearance, reliability, and a positive attitude toward guest service.
- Hotel management or hospitality certification/diploma is an advantage.
