Skills: Mechanical Design Engineer, Thermal, ASME Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting P&IDs;, piping layouts, and mechanical engineering drawings.
Robust knowledge of ASME, IBR, and applicable thermal power plant engineering codes and standards.
Exposure to Heat and Mass Balance (H&MB;) calculations and their application in power plant systems.
Experience in plant and equipment layout review and optimization, considering operability, maintainability, safety, accessibility, and space utilization.




Familiarity with mechanical engineering design and analysis software/tools.
Ability to review engineering deliverables, technical specifications, datasheets, drawings, and vendor documentation.
Robust understanding of mechanical systems and interfaces within thermal power plant projects.
Ability to identify design issues, engineering risks, and interface gaps and coordinate timely resolution.
Positive coordination skills for working with OEMs, EPC contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal project teams.
