Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Azure ETL Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data integration and transformation solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes, Azure data services, SQL, and data warehousing concepts to support enterprise analytics and reporting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure data services.

Extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems into cloud-based data platforms.

Develop and optimize data integration workflows using Azure Data Factory.

Build scalable data solutions leveraging Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure SQL technologies.

Perform data cleansing, transformation, validation, and enrichment activities.

Develop and maintain stored procedures, views, and complex SQL queries.

Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot performance or data quality issues.

Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and reporting teams.

Implement data governance, security, and compliance requirements.

Create technical documentation and support production deployments.

Required Skills

Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).

Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2).

Expertise in ETL/ELT Development.

Strong proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and query optimization.

Experience with Azure SQL Database, SQL Server, or Synapse Analytics.





Experience with Azure Databricks and PySpark.

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.

Experience with data transformation, data mapping, and data validation.

Understanding of Azure cloud services and architecture.

Experience with source control tools such as Git and Azure DevOps.

Robust troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics.

Knowledge of Power BI integration.

Experience with CI/CD implementation using Azure DevOps.

Familiarity with Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting.

Knowledge of Delta Lake and Lakehouse Architecture.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
