Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Medical Representative (MR) to join our marketing team in Kolkata. The candidate will be responsible for conducting regular doctor visits, promoting products, developing skilled relationships with healthcare professionals, and achieving assigned business targets.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular visits to doctors, clinics, hospitals, and healthcare professionals.
Promote and communicate product information effectively to doctors.
Build and maintain strong skilled relationships with doctors and medical professionals.
Achieve assigned sales and promotional targets.
Plan and manage daily doctor-visit schedules and territory coverage.
Gather market intelligence, competitor information, and customer feedback.
Follow up with doctors regularly to improve product awareness and prescription generation.
Maintain accurate records of doctor visits, interactions, and market activities.
Coordinate with the marketing and sales team for effective execution of promotional activities.
Prepare and submit regular reports on field activities and performance.
Requirements
Graduate in any discipline; B.Sc./B.Pharm/B.Pharm-related qualifications will be an advantage.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Representative/MR or in pharmaceutical sales and marketing.
Good knowledge of doctor detailing and field sales activities.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-management skills.
Valuable convincing and negotiation abilities.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
