Role Description The Autoclave & Oven Operations Shift Engineer – Mechanical is a full time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. The engineer will oversee day-to-day operation of autoclaves and industrial ovens, including start-up, monitoring, shutdown, and routine checks to ensure safe and efficient performance.

Responsibilities include performing mechanical inspections, identifying and resolving equipment faults, coordinating scheduled maintenance, and documenting operating parameters and incidents. The role involves working closely with production and quality teams to meet process requirements, maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards,



and supporting continuous improvement of operating procedures. The engineer may also assist in training operators on equipment usage and participate in shift handovers to ensure consistent operations.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to interpret process data, diagnose performance issues, and support decision-making.
- Hands-on troubleshooting skills for mechanical systems and thermal equipment, including fault isolation and corrective actions.
- Customer service orientation for effective coordination with internal stakeholders, such as production, quality, and maintenance teams.
- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows environments for equipment monitoring, logging, and basic system administration related to control systems.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience with industrial autoclaves, ovens, pressure vessels, or thermal processing equipment is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with safety standards, preventive maintenance practices, and documentation in a manufacturing or defense-related facility.
- Ability to work in rotating shifts, follow standard operating procedures, and communicate clearly in spoken and written English.
