responsibilities We are recruiting for a Manager in the Corporate Sector Audit Team. Working as a Manager in this team, your responsibilities will include: Lead a team of graduates and qualified Executives, Seniors and Assistant Managers working on onshore audits for Australia Managing international/corporate clients and leading the audits Manage and provide oversight over the audit team ensuring adherence to firm's global behaviors and values as well as compliance with KPMG Policies and Procedures and manage operational oversight over the team managing productivity, compliance, learning and development and quality, including reporting thereon. Manage group audit engagements involving multiple geographies.
Auditing complex sections of the financial statements for corporate clients across multiple industries with relevant statutory and regulatory frameworks. Act as main point of contact for onshore departments and build strong relationships with key contacts in Australia Make regular contact with Australia to ensure staff are booked to audits and utilized effectively and take feedback on quality of work delivered Track key metrics related to type of work performed,
quality of deliverables and feedback from onshore Develop and deliver training sessions based on the themes identified from onshore feedback and quality reviews Maintaining the data confidentiality and adherence to the risk management policy by the team members Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities. Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of audit quality, integrity, and professional conduct.
Work with L&D; team to identify training needs Work with Recruitment team to support hiring needs Act as the Performance Manager and lead the career development of team members Lead, coach, mentor and develop team members Monitor utilisation, support wellbeing, productivity, and performance of team members Motivate and develop Assistant Managers/Seniors to be effective team leaders Maintain compliance with audit quality requirements, independence policies, Code of Conduct, and qualified standards. Support the firm's System of Quality Management and monitoring initiatives. This role is for you if you have the below Educational qualifications Qualifications: Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g.
ICAI or ACCA) Work experience The candidate must have 5 years of experience in a client facing environment working with Corporate and/or international clients.
Experience or exposure to Big4 accounting firms is advantageous Experience Level Mid Level
