Role Description The Audit Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Aurangabad, responsible for supporting statutory, internal, and tax audits for a variety of clients.

Responsibilities include assisting in planning and executing audit procedures, reviewing financial statements and supporting documentation, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves performing analytical reviews, identifying variances and potential risk areas, and documenting findings in a clear and structured manner.

The Audit

Associate will collaborate with senior team members,



interact with client personnel to obtain information and clarifications, and contribute to the preparation of audit reports and management recommendations. The position also includes maintaining organized work papers, adhering to firm methodologies, and supporting continuous improvement in audit quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

- Solid knowledge of Financial Statements and core Finance concepts, with the ability to interpret and analyze balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Auditing and Financial Audits skills, including understanding of audit methodologies, internal controls, and compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to perform variance analysis, identify trends, detect inconsistencies, and draw logical conclusions from financial data.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; progress toward professional qualifications (e.g., CA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work systematically under deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with team members and interact professionally with clients.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other common office and accounting tools; familiarity with audit or ERP software is a plus.
