Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality teaching in core and elective Finance subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Teach courses such as Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Investment Analysis & Portfolio Management, Security Analysis, Financial Markets & Institutions, Banking, International Finance, Financial Derivatives, Risk Management and Financial Analytics.

Develop course plans, case studies, assignments, assessment tools and contemporary learning resources.

Integrate real-world financial cases, corporate financial statements, market data and contemporary financial developments into classroom teaching.

Guide students in summer internships, dissertations, research projects, financial modelling assignments and live projects.

Mentor students for careers in Banking, Financial Services, Investment Management, Corporate Finance, FinTech, Consulting and related domains.

Undertake quality research and contribute through publications in reputed journals, conferences, seminars, FDPs and funded research projects.

Contribute to curriculum development, academic planning, examinations, evaluation and continuous improvement of Finance courses.

Participate in NAAC/NBA/AICTE-related academic quality initiatives and institutional documentation, wherever applicable.

Facilitate industry–academia interaction through guest sessions, corporate projects, financial literacy programmes,



workshops and industry collaborations.

Contribute actively to departmental committees, student activities and overall institutional development.

Eligibility & Experience

MBA/M.Com or equivalent postgraduate qualification with specialization in Finance from a recognized university/institution.

Ph.D./NET or other qualifications as prescribed under applicable regulatory norms will be preferred/required depending upon the position.

Teaching/research/industry experience should be commensurate with the position applied for and applicable AICTE/UGC/University norms.

Candidates possessing relevant qualified qualifications such as CA, CMA, CFA, CS or equivalent credentials may be given preference, subject to applicable eligibility norms.

Candidates with a combination of academic excellence, research credentials and relevant corporate/financial-sector exposure will be preferred.

Desired Competencies

Strong conceptual understanding of Finance, effective classroom delivery, quantitative and analytical aptitude, research orientation, student mentoring capabilities and proficiency with contemporary financial tools.

Exposure to Advanced Excel, Financial Modelling, Power BI, Bloomberg/financial databases, Python/R for Finance, or other financial analytics tools will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

SRGC particularly seeks faculty members capable of taking Finance education beyond textbook-based instruction by connecting financial concepts with corporate decision-making, capital markets, banking, FinTech, analytics and contemporary business challenges.

The candidate should demonstrate the ability to contribute meaningfully to academic quality, research culture, student employability, industry engagement and institutional development.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
