JOB PURPOSE - An experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager/Manager - Finance to oversee accounting operations, cash flows and financial controls. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial management, regulatory compliance, effective cash-flow management, and providing reports & insights to support business growth and decision making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES -
- Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Track revenue, expenses, profitability, and overall financial performance.
- Ensure timely statutory payments, tax compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required financial documentation.
- Monitor working capital, receivables, payables, and cash-flow requirements.
- Review financial transactions and ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
- Coordinate with HR, Operations, Procurement, Sales, and other departments on finance-related matters.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- Semi-qualified CA / ICWA/ CMA (Inter) from a recognized institute or equivalent qualified qualification is a MUST HAVE
EXPERIENCE
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably with experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Experience in education, healthcare, or services sectors is an advantage but not mandatory.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Cash-flow and working-capital management.
- Timely completion of statutory and audit requirements.
- Reduction of financial risks and discrepancies.
- Overall efficiency and performance of the Finance & Accounts function.

- Internal: CBO, CFO, Finance Controllers of AK Entities, Business/Vertical Heads, Academic Leadership, HR
- External: Statutory auditors, tax consultants & banks
