Position Overview
We are seeking an ambitious, deal-focused Associate Vice President to join our Investment Banking coverage team. In this role, you will lead deal execution and actively support origination across Real Assets (Real Estate, REITs, Infrastructure, Industrial Warehousing, Data Centers, Hospitality, Educational Infra), Logistics & Transportation, and Diversified Industrials.
This role is positioned between junior talent and senior coverage leads, the AVP serves as the operational engine for live transactions (M&A;, PE, IPOs, QIPs, Block Deals) while driving strategic sector coverage and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Transaction Execution & Management (50%)
- Lead the end-to-end execution of M&A; and capital markets transactions.
- Direct the construction of advanced financial models, including DCF, public trading comparables, scenario/ sensitivity analysis.
- Oversee the creation of key transaction collateral, including pitch books, Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), management presentations, and valuation presentations.
- Manage multi-party due diligence processes, coordinating directly with legal counsel, accounting advisors, tax consultants, and client leadership.
2. Origination & Business Development (25%)
- Identify emerging sector trends and market opportunities within Real Assets, Logistics & Transportation and Industrials to generate actionable deal ideas.
- Lead pitch deck formulation and participate in senior client pitch meetings alongside ED/ MDs.
- Work with the ED to help evaluate transaction do-ability at the pitching stage

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management (25%)
- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for clients and key external advisors throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Supervise, mentor, and review the work of Analysts and Associates, ensuring institutional-grade accuracy and quality control.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: MBA from a Premier/Tier-1 Business School or Chartered Accountant (CA). CFA charter is a strong plus.
- Experience: 5–6 years of relevant core Investment Banking experience (M&A; / ECM).
- Sector Expertise: Proven track record in Real Assets (Real Estate, REITs, Data Centers, Logistics/Warehousing) and Diversified Industrials.
- Deal Track Record: Demonstrated history of successfully completed transaction experience across M&A;, private capital raises, or public equity issuances.
Key Technical & Behavioural Competencies
- Advanced Financial Modelling: Mastery of real estate-specific valuation techniques (Net Asset Value [NAV], Cap Rates, Yield Analysis), Building of three statement financial statements, DCF & Scenario Analysis.
- Capital Markets Mechanics: Working understanding of regulatory guidelines and mechanics for ECM transactions (IPOs, QIPs, preferential placements, block trades).
- Communication & Presentation: Valuable verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to interact directly with senior leaders within the firm and clients.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Highly self-motivated with the initiative to work proactively & independently under tight deadlines while upholding strict ethical standards
