Job Title: Assistant Professor - Computer Applications

Department: BCA Department

Location: Asia Pacific campus, near usmanpura Ahmedabad

Working Hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm (EVENING)

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual for the position of Assistant Professor in Computer Applications. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic excellence of the department by delivering high-quality instruction, engaging in research activities, and participating in departmental initiatives. The position requires commitment to teaching, research, and service to the institution.

Responsibilities

1. Teaching:

- Conduct lectures, seminars, and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Applications.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

1. Research:

- Engage in scholarly research activities in the field of Computer Applications.
- Publish research findings in reputable journals and conferences.
- Actively participate in research projects and collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the academic reputation of the department.

1. Service:

- Contribute to the department's administrative and organizational activities.
- Participate in academic committees, faculty meetings,



and other departmental initiatives.
- Provide academic and career advising to students.

1. Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Computer Applications or a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Ph.D. in Computer Applications or a related discipline is highly desirable.
- Strong academic record and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and research.

1. Skills and Competencies:

- Proficient in relevant programming languages and technologies.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
- Commitment to staying updated with advancements in the field.

1. Experience:

- Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level is an asset.
- Research experience and a track record of publications are highly desirable.
