Role Description The Assistant Manager will oversee day-to-day branch or unit operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines in all microfinance activities.

Responsibilities include supervising teams, monitoring loan disbursement and collection processes, managing customer relationships, and supporting the implementation of women-centric lending programs. The role involves analyzing portfolio performance, preparing reports, coordinating with senior management,



and contributing to risk management and process improvements.

The Assistant

Manager will also engage in community outreach to deepen financial inclusion and support business growth in the local area. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gaya.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in team supervision, branch operations management, and coordination with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze financial data, loan portfolios, and operational reports, with attention to risk management and compliance.
- Effective customer relationship management and community engagement skills, especially in rural and low-income contexts.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and technology-driven processes used in microfinance or banking operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in relevant local languages and English.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business administration, economics, or a related field; a master’s degree is an advantage.
- Experience in microfinance, banking, or financial services, preferably in rural or semi-urban markets.
- Ability to work in office in Gaya, travel locally as needed, and maintain high ethical standards and integrity.
