About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and responsible Assistant Manager – Hospital Operations to support the smooth and effective functioning of hospital operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospital administration, patient services, coordination with clinical and non-clinical departments, and quality-focused healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the day-to-day operations and administration of the hospital.

Coordinate with clinical, nursing, diagnostics, front office, billing, pharmacy, and support services.

Ensure smooth patient flow and a high standard of patient experience.

Monitor operational processes and identify areas for improvement.

Handle patient and attendant concerns and ensure timely resolution.

Support implementation of hospital policies, SOPs, and quality standards.

Monitor departmental performance, productivity, and service levels.

Coordinate with various departments to ensure effective communication and workflow.

Assist in audits,



accreditation requirements, documentation, and compliance activities.

Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to management.

Support initiatives related to cost control, process improvement, and service excellence.

Manage operational issues and escalate critical matters to senior management when required.

Desired Candidate Profile

Graduate/Postgraduate in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

3–6 years of relevant experience in a hospital/healthcare setting, preferably in a super speciality hospital.

Good understanding of hospital operations and patient services.

Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities.

Proficiency in MS Office and hospital information systems is preferred.

Candidates with experience in NABH-accredited hospitals will be preferred.
