Assistant Manager (Logistics) Job Title: Assistant Manager – Logistics Department: Logistics / Supply Chain Location: Vasai Experience: 10+ Years Qualification: Graduate in any discipline Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Logistics to manage end-to-end logistics and dispatch operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in transportation management, dispatch planning, warehouse coordination, vendor management, and ensuring timely deliveries while optimizing logistics costs.

Key Responsibilities • Manage daily dispatch and logistics operations to ensure timely deliveries.

- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Sales, and Customers for smooth material movement.
- Plan and monitor transportation schedules and vehicle utilization.
- Manage transporters and negotiate freight rates to optimize logistics costs.
- Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery (OTIF).
- Ensure proper logistics documentation, including invoices, e-way bills, LR, POD, and dispatch records.
- Monitor inventory movement and coordinate with warehouse teams.
- Resolve delivery issues, transit damages, shortages, and customer complaints.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and company logistics procedures.
- Prepare daily, weekly,



and monthly logistics MIS reports.
- Lead and guide the logistics team to achieve operational targets.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Required Skills • Solid knowledge of logistics, dispatch, transportation, and warehouse operations.

- Experience in transporter and vendor management.
- Knowledge of e-way bills, GST documentation, and dispatch processes.
- Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Team handling and leadership skills.

Preferred Industry

Manufacturing, Packaging, Printing, FMCG, or any production-based industry.
