Assistant Manager / Manager – Sales, Marketing & Operations Management

Location: TERI Gram, Gurugram

About the Role

TERI is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant Manager / Manager – Sales, Marketing & Operations Management to drive the effective utilisation, positioning and outreach of TERI Gram’s facilities and services.

The role will combine business development, sales, marketing, stakeholder engagement and operational management, with a key focus on promoting and maximising the utilisation of TERI Gram’s institutional, retreat, sports and recreational facilities, including golf, cricket and other campus amenities.

The ideal candidate should have strong sales and networking abilities, an entrepreneurial approach, excellent relationship-building skills and the operational capability to ensure seamless delivery of services and experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

- Develop and implement strategies to increase utilisation and revenue from TERI Gram’s facilities and services.
- Identify and pursue business opportunities with corporates, institutions, government organisations, professional bodies and other clients.
- Generate leads, manage sales pipelines, conduct client meetings and drive conversions.
- Develop proposals, packages and customised offerings for corporate events, retreats, sports activities, conferences and institutional programmes.
- Build and maintain long-term client and business relationships.

Marketing & Outreach
- Develop and execute marketing and promotional initiatives for TERI Gram and its facilities.
- Increase visibility of the campus through corporate outreach, networking, partnerships, digital promotion and institutional engagement.
- Identify new markets, customer segments and opportunities for expanding facility utilisation.
- Coordinate promotional campaigns,



events and engagement activities to strengthen TERI Gram’s market presence.

Facilities & Operations Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of TERI Gram’s retreat, sports, hospitality, meeting and other facilities.
- Ensure facilities are maintained to high standards of quality, safety, hygiene and presentation.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, security, maintenance, transport, landscaping and other service teams.
- Ensure seamless execution of client programmes, events, conferences, retreats and sports activities.

Sports, Retreat & Event Management
- Drive utilisation of golf, cricket and other sports and recreational facilities.
- Develop and promote corporate and institutional sports, retreat and engagement programmes.
- Coordinate conferences, workshops, corporate events, retreats, VIP visits and other programmes hosted at TERI Gram.
- Ensure a high-quality experience for clients, guests and institutional stakeholders.

Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build solid relationships with existing and prospective clients, partners, vendors and external stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of coordination for clients and ensure timely resolution of operational requirements.
- Represent TERI Gram in relevant external meetings, networking forums and business engagements.
- Develop strategic partnerships and collaborations to support business growth.

Budget, Vendor & Commercial Management
- Prepare and monitor budgets related to operations, marketing and facility management.
- Support pricing,



commercial negotiations and revenue planning.
- Manage vendors, service providers and contractual arrangements.
- Ensure cost efficiency and compliance with organisational policies and processes.

Performance & Process Improvement
- Monitor sales, occupancy/utilisation, revenue and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Develop periodic reports and provide insights on business performance and growth opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer experience and facility utilisation.
- Implement technology-enabled and process-oriented solutions for better sales and operational management.

Desired Skills & Competencies
- Strong sales, business development and marketing orientation.
- Proven networking, outreach and relationship-management skills.
- Experience in facility, hospitality, resort, retreat, sports, corporate campus or institutional operations will be preferred.
- Strong client acquisition, negotiation and commercial skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and execute marketing and business-development strategies.
- Strong operational planning and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, teams and activities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM, digital marketing or facility-management systems would be an advantage.

Experience 7+ years of relevant experience, preferably with significant experience in sales, business development, marketing, hospitality, facility management, events, sports or institutional operations.

Qualification

Masters degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, Management, Sales, Facilities Management or a related field.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
