Responsibilities

PECVD Machine Management and Operation:

- Operate and maintain PECVD systems to ensure optimal performance and reliable deposition processes.

Breakdown Response and Troubleshooting

- Address and resolve PECVD equipment breakdowns swiftly, analyze issues to prevent future failures.

Process Optimization

- Optimize PECVD parameters (gas flow rates, temperature, pressure) to achieve uniform and high-quality thin films, improving solar cell efficiency.

Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)

- Implement CAPA plans for major breakdowns, ensuring timely resolution and preventive measures to enhance equipment reliability.

Quality Control

- Conduct inspections to verify thin film thickness, uniformity, and adherence, maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.

Safety And Compliance

- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during PECVD operations to maintain a protected work environment.

Documentation And Reporting

- Maintain accurate records of process parameters,



equipment maintenance, and production outputs and daily check sheet.

Team Leadership And Training

- Lead and support a team of technicians or operators, providing guidance, training, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Continuous Improvement

- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the diffusion area.

Key Stakeholders - Internal

- Lead of Cell Maintenance
- Head of Cell Maintenance
- Other Shift Engineers within the same cluster

- Equipment Suppliers
- Maintenance Contractors
- Regulatory Authorities

Qualifications B.Tech/ Diploma – Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Min 2 - 5 years of hands-on experience in PECVD operations within the solar manufacturing industry, focusing on process optimization and equipment maintenance
