We are looking for an experienced HR professional to lead and manage the HR function for our building and real estate business in Gurugram. The role will be responsible for driving HR strategy, talent management, employee engagement, performance management and HR operations while partnering closely with business leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. HR Strategy & Business Partnering
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with senior leadership and functional heads on people-related matters.
- Provide strategic HR support for business growth and organizational requirements.
1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead end-to-end recruitment across corporate, projects, construction and support functions.
- Drive hiring for mid-to-senior and leadership positions.
- Develop manpower plans based on project and business requirements.
- Ensure timely closure of critical positions.
1. Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations
- Oversee the complete employee lifecycle from joining to exit.
- Ensure effective implementation of HR policies, processes and systems.
- Drive HR operations across business and project locations.
1. Performance Management
- Lead the PMS, goal setting, KPI and performance review process.
- Partner with business heads to ensure effective performance evaluation.
- Identify talent gaps and support performance improvement initiatives.
1. Employee Engagement & Retention
- Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Develop initiatives to strengthen organizational culture and employee experience.
- Address employee concerns and support effective grievance resolution.

- Support annual compensation reviews, salary benchmarking and promotions.
- Ensure internal parity and alignment with market practices.
- Partner with management on compensation decisions and critical offers.

- Identify capability-building requirements across functions.
- Drive training and development initiatives for employees and leadership.
- Support succession planning and talent development.
1. HR MIS & Analytics
- Develop and monitor HR dashboards, MIS and key workforce metrics.
- Provide data-driven insights to senior management.
- Track manpower, attrition, hiring and other HR KPIs.
1. Compliance & Employee Relations
- Ensure adherence to applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Manage employee relations and disciplinary matters.
- Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies across locations.
1. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the HR team.
- Build a responsive and business-oriented HR function.
- Ensure effective coordination between corporate, project and site HR teams.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- 15–20 years of progressive HR experience.
- Building / Real Estate / Construction experience is mandatory.
- Solid experience in HR Business Partnering and HR leadership.
- Experience handling HR for construction projects, project sites and corporate functions.
- Strong exposure to talent acquisition, PMS, employee engagement, compensation, HR operations and employee relations.
- Experience in handling senior stakeholder management and leadership hiring.
- Strong communication, people management and decision-making skills.
- MBA/PGDM in HR from a reputed institute will be preferred.
