About the Role The Assistant Manager – Category (Personal Care) will be responsible for managing the Personal Care category, driving sales growth, profitability, product assortment, vendor relationships, promotions, and inventory optimization across The Organic World stores.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute category strategies to achieve sales, margin, and growth targets.

- Manage the complete Personal Care category including skincare, haircare, hygiene, wellness, and organic personal care products.

- Analyze sales trends, customer preferences, market movements, and competitor activities.

- Plan assortment, pricing, promotions, and product launches to maximize category performance.

- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, margins, and promotional activities with vendors and suppliers.

- Monitor category-wise sales, profitability, stock availability, and inventory turnover.

- Coordinate with stores, supply chain, marketing, and merchandising teams for smooth execution.

- Ensure optimum stock levels and minimize stock-outs and slow-moving inventory.

- Identify recent brands and products aligned with customer demand and TOW business objectives.





- Prepare periodic business reviews, category reports, and performance dashboards.

- Drive seasonal promotions, new product introductions, and customer engagement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in Category Management, Buying, Merchandising, or Retail Operations.

- Experience in FMCG, Retail, Up-to-date Trade, Supermarket, or Personal Care categories is preferred.

- Strong analytical, negotiation, vendor management, and planning skills.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and retail/category management tools.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
