Key Responsibilities
Precision Inspection: Lead the inspection of complex, high-tolerance precision components using manual instruments, profile projectors, and manual instruments.
Quality Documentation: Prepare and maintain PDI (Pre-Dispatch Inspection) reports, Layout Inspection reports, and Material Test Certificates.
Process Control: Develop and implement PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documents, Control Plans, and MSA (Measurement System Analysis).
Root Cause Analysis: Lead investigations into internal and external rejections using 8D methodology, 5-Why analysis, and to prevent recurrence.
Supplier & Client Liaison: Coordinate with suppliers for raw material quality and act as the technical point of contact for customer quality audits.
Calibration: Manage the periodic calibration schedule for all gauges and measuring instruments to ensure 100% accuracy.





Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in quality control/assurance specifically within a precision machining workplace.
Technical Proficiency: * Expertise in reading and interpreting complex GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) symbols and engineering drawings.
Standards: Solid knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 or IATF 16949 standards.
Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Soft Skills: A sharp eye for detail (naturally), solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate technical issues clearly to the production team.
