Role Description The Articled Assistant will support the accounting and tax teams with day-to-day activities such as bookkeeping, voucher entry, ledger maintenance, and preparation of financial statements.
Responsibilities include assisting in GST, TDS, and income tax return filing, supporting ITC reconciliation, and helping with statutory compliances and documentation. The role will also involve working on payroll-related calculations, basic HR support tasks, and contributing to business support and back-office operations as needed.

Assistant will collaborate with senior team members to gather client data, prepare working papers, and ensure timely completion of assignments. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mysore.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in accounting principles and basic knowledge of bookkeeping, ledger posting, and financial statement preparation.
- Understanding of direct and indirect taxation, including GST, TDS, income tax return filing,
and compliance-related procedures.
- Ability to work with spreadsheets and accounting software; familiarity with MS Excel and common accounting tools is preferred.
- Good analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and documentation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with clients and internal teams professionally.
- Robust organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Enrollment in a Chartered Accountancy course or similar professional qualification, with eligibility to undergo articleship training.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to structured processes, and work on-site at Mysore under the guidance of senior professionals.
