The Area Sales Manager – Responsible for driving sales growth in the assigned region, developing current business opportunities, managing client relationships, and leading the local sales team to achieve organizational objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities: -
- Achieve sales targets in volume, margin, and market share.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, including pricing policies.
- Strengthen and manage agent networks.
- Maintain strong client relationships and resolve customer issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order handling and feedback integration.
- Prepare and review sales performance reports.
- Coach and motivate the sales team to deliver excellent customer service.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand customer base.
- Conduct client visits, seminars,
and meetings to promote products.
Person Specification: -
- Experience
- 03-10 years of experience in Sales, Business Development.
- Experience in Manufacturing/Engineering/Farm Equipment/Agri products preferred.
Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of poultry farming, engineering poultry equipment or green field projects.
- Strong business acumen and proven track record in sales.
- Excellent networking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Proactive, independent, and adaptable in a matrix environment.
- Willingness to travel within the region.
