Role Description Job Summary A highly experienced and strategic Test Automation Architect to design, develop, and implement the next-generation test automation frameworks. The candidate should be an expert in the Playwright framework and responsible for driving our overall quality assurance strategy.
He should be able to lead a team of automation engineers, establish best practices, and integrate automated testing seamlessly to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Around 15+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a minimum of 5 years in a test architect or senior lead role.
- Expert-level, hands-on experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Positive knowledge of Automation Frameworks like Jest or Mocha
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript is essential. Experience with other languages like Python, Java, or C# is a plus.
- Should be familiar with PlayWright Concepts like Test annotation,
Browser and Page Fixtures, Async, Await, Config file: Playwright.config.js and its content, Different ways of running the tests, Running tests on multiple browsers, Assertions etc.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with development, product management, and other cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with product requirements
- Strong debugging, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes and modern QA methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA or similar.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with a detail-oriented approach to testing.
- Familiarity with tools like Maven, TestNG, JUnit, Jenkins, and Git
