Architect – Commercial Interiors

We are looking for an Architect with strong design, technical detailing and project-handling capabilities to join our Commercial Interiors team. The candidate should be capable of handling projects from concept development through detailed design and site coordination, while effectively communicating with clients, consultants, vendors and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle commercial interior projects from concept development to execution coordination
- Develop space planning, furniture layouts, architectural layouts, RCP, flooring and other design drawings
- Prepare detailed working drawings, sections, elevations, joinery details and construction details
- Understand client requirements and present design concepts, materials and technical details clearly to clients
- Attend client meetings, design discussions and project reviews
- Conduct regular site visits, verify measurements and review execution against approved drawings
- Coordinate with MEP, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, civil and other consultants/departments
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, fabricators and suppliers for technical requirements and execution
- Review shop drawings, material samples and vendor submissions
- Identify site/design coordination issues and provide practical solutions
- Ensure execution maintains the approved design intent, quality and specifications




- Maintain proper project drawings, revisions and design documentation
- Coordinate internally with designers, 3D visualisers, draftsmen and project teams
- Manage project priorities and deliver drawings/design outputs within scheduled timelines

Required Skills
- Strong space planning and commercial interior design understanding
- Good knowledge of architectural and interior detailing
- Ability to independently handle and coordinate projects
- Strong understanding of site execution and construction methodology
- Good knowledge of interior materials, finishes, furniture, joinery, hardware, lighting and specifications
- Understanding of MEP coordination and basic services requirements
- Ability to communicate confidently with clients, consultants, contractors and vendors
- Good problem-solving and site coordination skills
- Ability to read, review and coordinate technical drawings
- Strong attention to detailing and execution quality

Software Skills

Required / Preferred

- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- D5 Render

Added Advantage:
- Revit
- Grasshopper
- BIM / parametric design knowledge

Candidates with strong experience in commercial interiors, interior architecture and fit-out projects will be preferred. Portfolio Required: Please share your CV and portfolio while applying.
