Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute automated API test scripts using Rest Assured.

- Create and maintain scalable API automation frameworks using Java and testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.

- Validate REST APIs, including request/response structures, authentication, status codes, and business logic.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end API testing.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for timely resolution.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

- Work with tools like Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and API monitoring solutions.

- Prepare test reports and maintain test documentation.





- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to quality assurance best practices.

Required Skills

- Solid experience in API Automation Testing.

- Hands-on experience with Rest Assured framework.

- Proficiency in Java programming.

- Experience with TestNG/JUnit and Maven/Gradle.

- Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, XML, and API authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, Basic Auth).

- Experience with version control tools such as Git.

- Knowledge of SQL and database validation.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
