Role Description The Android Audio Developer with C++ (Exp: 5+ years) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru South. In this role, the developer will design, implement, and optimize Android audio components and features, leveraging strong C++ skills for performance-critical modules. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining audio-related Android applications and services,



collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, and integrating audio functionalities with broader system architecture.

The role also involves debugging and resolving audio and performance issues, conducting code reviews, and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. The developer will contribute to documentation, participate in design discussions, and support continuous improvement of the audio stack and user experience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess experience in Android development and applying Android design principles to audio-focused features.
- Candidates should possess solid software development skills, including object-oriented programming, C++ expertise, and clean coding practices.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in debugging, performance optimization, and working with audio frameworks or multimedia APIs on Android.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience with Android NDK, JNI, and low-level audio processing or DSP is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams.
