Role & responsibilities

Senior Analyst will join the Lending Services (Corporate and commercial banking) team at Evalueserve-

- Supporting bankers in critical lending/credit processes across end to end lending journey such as follows:
- Financials spreading (PL, BS and CF) on excel based model or lending platform along with key credit
- Must have experience in team handling, exposure to periodic MIS, Workflow management
- Metrics calculation
- Performing PD/LGD spreading on risk rating platforms (Quantitative & Qualitative Parameters)
- Calculating covenants in line with facility agreements and providing detailed rationale for covenant
- Performing Annual/Quarterly or Half yearly reviews small or medium connections:
- Business Overview - Financial Analysis (Historical and Forecast) (Operating, Leverage & Liquidity ratios)
- Covenant performance
- PD/LGD analysis
- Verifying/Calculating compliance against bank transaction guidelines (DSC, FCCR, LTV, Interest cover, leverage etc.) or any other sector-based guideline

Required Qualifications

- Strong Accounting and financial skills
- Understanding and experience of credit review or underwriting role is desirable
- Experience on lending platforms or credit search platforms like Credit lens, nCino or Lexis would be preferable.

- Ability to ensure that tasks within areas of responsibility are completed in a timely manner
- Ability to practice attentive and active listening skills
- Ability to identify pro-active ways to contribute to firms goals & mission

- Bachelor's/Masters degree with a major in finance, economics, accounting or from a reputed institute.

Preferred qualifications

- Post Graduation/ MBA in Finance domain/ CFA/CA
- 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in Commercial Banking domain
- Strong Accounting and financial skills Good MS Office Skills
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
